Fire Focus is designed as a local-first productivity app. Your timer settings, tasks, statistics, preferences, and backup data are stored on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Information Stored Locally

The app may save your focus settings, task list, completed sessions, daily goal, theme preferences, custom font settings, and backup files on your device. This data is used only to make the app work for you.

Backup Files

If you export a JSON backup, the file is saved to your device. On Android, backups are saved to the default Downloads folder. You control whether to keep, delete, import, or share those files.

Ambient Audio

Some ambient audio options use embedded YouTube videos. Playing those tracks may connect to YouTube or Google services, which may receive technical information according to their own privacy practices.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, the app uses device notification features to alert you when a timer phase ends. Notification permission can be changed in your browser or device settings.

Data Sharing

Fire Focus does not sell your data and does not run its own analytics service. Data leaves your device only when you choose to use platform features such as export, import, share, YouTube playback, or email links.
